I came up in Brooklyn when the streets were louder than dreams and survival was the first thing you learned. The 90s weren’t kind to kids like me—sirens at night, tension on every corner, and a constant feeling that tomorrow wasn’t promised. Where I’m from, you either toughened up quick or got swallowed whole. I chose to fight—sometimes literally, sometimes just to keep my head above water.
Boxing found me early. It started as a way to let out anger, but it became discipline, focus, and a kind of peace I couldn’t find anywhere else. In the ring, it was just me, my breath, and the next move. No chaos, no distractions—just purpose. That same mindset carried me through everything else life threw at me.
But the streets had their grip too. Being part of a gang wasn’t something I glorify—it was survival, loyalty, and sometimes feeling like it was the only family around. You learn fast who’s real and who’s not. You learn consequences even faster. I’ve seen things, lost people, and walked paths I wouldn’t wish on the next generation. But every step taught me something about strength, about choices, and about what it really means to make it out.
Music came from those experiences. Rap wasn’t just a dream—it was a voice. A way to tell the truth about where I’m from and what I’ve been through. Every bar carried pain, hustle, and the reality of trying to rise above it all. I didn’t just want to be heard—I needed to be understood.
Through all of it, one thing never changed: family. Taking care of mine wasn’t optional—it was everything. Whether it meant stepping into the ring, grinding in the studio, or making hard decisions, it was always about making sure the people I love had something better than what we started with.
Now, looking back from then to now, I’m still here—and that alone means something. I’ve fought in rings and in life. I’ve seen the worst and still pushed for something more. The story’s not perfect, but it’s real. And every day I’m still moving forward, still fighting, still building something bigger than where I came from.
